ANSWER: Flu bugs!
I never thought I'd find myself in a scenario where I would not want to board game. Ever. But apparently having week after week of cold and flu bugs just drains all my will to compete, crush, and and destroy. The Nyquil haze is also a real bummer when your trying to fortify your troops in Risk or pick a role in Puerto Rico. So I'm sorry to say that the Board Game Closet of Doom has been sealed shut for a few weeks.
The excellent news is that it's back open, and there's nothing to refresh a game playing passion like a little time away. Here's to happier and healthier gaming this spring and summer!
